The Spirograph Clock is a classic example of the beauty of simplicity and symmetry, crossing the boundaries of wall art and function. Taking approximately one hour just to laser cut, it is constructed from 6mm thick American black walnut veneered board.
After the lengthy cutting process is complete, each clock is hand sanded, in between three coats of nitrocellulose lacquer. I take a lot of pride in my work so you can be sure the finish will be excellent.
The clock face measures 40cm diameter and is big enough to make a statement, while being small enough to be discreet.
I chose the German UTS quartz movement for its excellent time keeping. It is practically silent in operation, though not technically classed as a silent mechanism.
